The Weft garments are designed in Australia and manufactured in China.

We work with three specialist manufacturers across Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou. Each was chosen carefully — for their particular expertise, their standards, and their values: in fabric sourcing, construction, finishing, and the kind of knowledge that only comes from decades of working at the highest level of garment making. China is home to some of the world's most sophisticated textile and manufacturing capabilities; innovative materials, refined techniques, and production standards that are genuinely world-class. That's why we're here — and we continue to do our research.

Our relationships with our makers are close ones. We're in daily contact with our teams, working through samples, refining fits, and getting the details right. We visit two to three times a year, we know the people on the floor, and we've built the kind of working relationships where honesty flows both ways. That's where our quality comes from.

Since launching in 2018, we've produced around 75 styles — predominantly in natural fibres, with select pieces in Lenzing TENCEL™. You can read more about the fabrics we choose and why on our fabrics page. Runs typically sit between 50 and 150 pieces, and most styles are revisited and re-run rather than retired. It's a deliberate pace. We're not interested in volume; we're interested in pieces that are made well, in materials that feel good, and that people return to season after season.
